The men and women at BGI are committed to giving back to those in need. Many of our mainline business programs and projects bring us closer to charities that support the veterans and their families. In addition many BGI members have served and continue to serve in the Armed Forces, again keeping us close to this need. We have historically included a “charity” line in our annual operating budget for the last few years. Naturally it has always seemed fitting to ensure that any company charitable contributions should benefit our military veterans. In 2009 we completed a significant enhancement to our philanthropic strategy: the BGI charitable contribution matching program for the benefit of Veteran’s Organizations.
We have selected three eligible organizations from a long list of potential candidates. The corporate endorsement of these organizations supports our core values, fulfills the corporate theme of giving back and certainly impacts truly deserving Veterans and their families in a much needed way.

BGI participates in employee events that support these and other worthwhile charities. Our mission is not complete until we give back the community.
