BGI Recognized by US Navy Reserves

On June 20, 2014 BGI, LLC was presented with an award for “Outstanding Employer Support” by the United States Navy.  BGI CEO Phil Dismukes was in attendance to accept the award from the Chief of Navy Reserve Vice Adm. Robin Braun.  Representatives from 39 civilian employers of Reserve Sailors visited Joint Expeditionary Base (JEB) Little Creek as part of the 2014 Navy Employer Recognition Event.  These selected employers had been nominated by their Navy Reserve Sailor employees.  Attendees toured the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, the USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), and the USS Scranton submarine as well as viewed a static display of aircraft and a demonstration by SEAL Team 18.  The inscription on the plaque awarded to BGI, LLC read: 

United States Navy Certificate of Appreciation awarded to BGI, LLC for Outstanding Employer Support in recognition of your outstanding support to the Sailors who serve in the United States Navy Reserve.  As a valued employer for these outstanding Americans, you also serve. With your patriotism and unwavering support, we can live up to our Navy Reserve motto; “Ready Now, Anytime, Anywhere.”
