BGI Senior Business Development Manager, Christopher “Towny” Townsend (Commander ret.) was elected aa the National President of the Navy League of the United States (NLUS) during the national convention in June. He will serve the remainder of this year as President-elect, alongside the current President, David J. Reilly, and at next year’s national convention, Towny will take office as the 52nd President and begin executing what is expected to be an aggressive agenda during his two-year term in this key leadership role.
